Parakeet (Melopsittacus undulatus)

She is a girl. How is that known?... (see next paragraph)

  • Sexual dimorphism is being able to tell the difference in male and female of a species by physical appearance. In male parakeets, the beak and nasal area is mainly blue, while the female has lighter colors.
This pictures is from a bad angle. This photo is actually pretty undesirable by viewers, but I have it here anyway.
